Can living microbes inflate a balloon? Join Adonai Science Learning for Balloon Powered Biology, an exciting, hands-on science workshop where students become scientists and explore the fascinating world of microorganisms!
During this interactive experience, students will investigate how yeast, a living microorganism, produces gas through fermentation. Using everyday materials, participants will develop hypotheses, design their own experiments, test different conditions, and observe how biological processes can inflate a balloon!
What Students Will Experience:
Explore the science of yeast, microorganisms, and fermentation.
Develop a scientific question and test a hypothesis.
Design and conduct a hands-on experiment.
Collect observations, compare results, and draw scientific conclusions.
Discover how scientists investigate the living world.
No previous laboratory experience is necessary. Just bring your curiosity!
